Amanda Bynes’ forced psychiatric hold extended
Amanda Bynes’ forced psychiatric hospitalization has been extended another 30 days while doctors for the troubled actress seek a mental health conservatorship over her, sources told the Daily News Friday.
In a separate action, a California civil court judge granted Amanda’s mom, Lynn Bynes, control of her daughter’s finances, an estate worth $3.57 million.
Amanda, 27, was set to leave the hospital Thursday night and appear in a Ventura County courtroom Friday to speak with the judge in the case involving her mother’s request for a temporary probate conservatorship. But doctors kept the actress in the hospital, saying she has a “grave disability.”
