1D Star Zayn Malik is OFFICIALLY OFF THE MARKET!

E! News has confirmed that One Direction star Zayin Malik proposed to his girlfriend Perrie Edwards, his rep confirmed this on Wednesday August 21st.  A little info on Perrie Edwards:  She is part of a 4 person girl group called Little Mix, which was formed on X-Factor UK.  Sounds kinda similar to how 1D started right?

Perrie and Zayin briefly dated in 2011, but officially got together in April 2012.  Perrie showed of her engagement bling at the London premiere of “This is Us”, the new One Direction movie.  Her mother released an official announcement, expressing how happy the couple is, and the families, on the engagement.  No wedding date has been set.

Simon Cowell BREAKS HIS SILENCE!

 

American Idol judge Simon Cowell has finally broken his silence on the recent scandal he was involved in with Lauren and Andrew Silverman.  While attending the premiere of the new One Direction movie in UK, photogs asked Cowell how he felt about becoming a dad and he said he is “I am proud to be a dad”.  Signs are showing that Simon has embraced the idea of becoming a father, which many found strange because he never expressed interest in having children before.    He seems to be excited!

If you didnt know, Simon is expecting a child with Lauren Silverman, who quickly divorced her husband, Andrew Silverman, after announcing her pregnancy.  Lauren is said to be in the second trimester.
